Georgos is a Digital Product Director who works with skilled technologists to build world-class digital government services that improve people’s lives.
Georgos knows high-quality digital government can radically improve access to government services and contributes to the success of public policies more broadly, in turn building greater trust in government. He believes that purposefully nurturing people, practices and cultures that breed high-performing digital teams are one of the critical ingredients to this success.
Georgos brings eclectic experience as a lawyer and public policy analyst to his current role as Director of Digital Capability & Performance at Service NSW. In this role, Georgos and his team foster people’s skill development and spark improved ways of working to help over 60 digital teams do their best work. In his previous role at Service NSW, Georgos established and scaled digital government services for small businesses in NSW, and pioneered contemporary digital practices in government centred on product management and design-led innovation.
Georgos holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from The University of Sydney, a Masters in Politics & Public Policy from Macquarie University, and a Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Innovation from the University of Technology, Sydney.
